1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services or website.
2. Services Provided
We provide in-home and remote animal training, behaviour consulting, and educational guidance for a wide range of species (including but not limited to dogs, puppies, birds, parrots, birds of prey, skunks, meerkats, coatis, reptiles, rabbits, and show animals). All services are tailored to the specific needs and welfare of each individual animal and owner.
3. Safety and Wellbeing
It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their animal is fit, healthy, up-to-date with vaccinations, and physically able to participate in training. For everyone’s safety, animals showing signs of illness, aggression, or parasites (including fleas or worms) may result in cancellation of the session. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if we consider there is a risk to safety or welfare.
4. Training Methods
We use only force-free, positive reinforcement methods and never condone the use of punishment, harsh equipment, or intimidation. If aversive training devices or techniques are used outside our guidance, we reserve the right to immediately terminate services with no refund due.
5. Results Disclaimer
Training outcomes depend on many factors, including consistency and practice by the owner between sessions. While we aim for the best possible results, no guarantees can be made regarding behaviour modification. We hold no liability for changes not directly supervised by our trainers.
6. Payment, Deposit & Cancellation
Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total session or package price is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit is non-refundable in the case of late cancellation (see below).
Balance: The remaining balance must be paid prior to or at the start of your first session. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or cash only; we do not accept card payments.
Cancellation: You can cancel or reschedule without penalty if more than 48 hours’ notice is given. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, your deposit will be retained to cover lost time. No-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours before your session will result in forfeiture of the deposit and any further payment made.
Refunds: Any refunds for approved cancellations or package non-use will be processed within 7 business days, minus non-refundable deposits and any administrative fees where applicable.
7. Liability
While we take every care to ensure safety, all animals remain the responsibility of the owner throughout sessions. We accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage to persons, pets, or property resulting from your animal’s behaviour. You are advised to maintain suitable pet and public liability insurance.
8. Children & Vulnerable Adults
A responsible adult must supervise all children and vulnerable adults present at any training session. Please do not allow children to approach animals unsupervised or interfere with training activities.
9. Data Protection & Confidentiality
We treat all client information with confidentiality. Personal data is collected and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
